Yahvey Hoffman, MA, MS, LMHC

Yahvey Hoffman is a New York State licensed psychotherapist with over two decades of experience as an educator and tutor.  After serving on the Board of the New York Mental Health Counselor’s Association (NYMHCA), Yahvey now works in private practice addressing the educational and mental health needs of students in greater New York City metropolitan area with offices in Manhattan (UWS) and Briarcliff Manor (Westchester).

After studying for advanced degrees at both the University of London (LSE) and Princeton, Yahvey realized that what is needed more so than ‘better thinking’, is ‘better being’, both with ourselves and with others.

Yahvey now provides services to students (and their families) which encompass both the scholastic and mental health realms.  Through the vehicle of Dyadic Tutoring, he brings an integrated vision of development and healing to the two endeavors that have defined his professional life: psychological health and educational health.
